1 Month Hair Growth Update!!!!

Hey lovelies!!!!!

A few weeks ago I posted that I was starting to miss Pixie so I decided to grow my hair back. It’s been a month since I cut my hair and I’m starting to see progress.

The picture on the left was my son’s prom May 20th, as you can see I had a fresh cut. The picture on the right was this past weekend June 17th, and I’m now rocking a TWA.

In my last post I said I wasn’t going to do much to my hair or invest in a lot of products and I’ve pretty much stuck to that. My routine has changed a little because my hair is a little longer and my curls are coming in. However, my routine is still very simple. I shampoo and condition once a week and co-wash 2-3 times a weeks to refresh the little curls I have. After shampooing and co-washing I add oil and work a curl enhancing cream through my hair. I sleep in a satin bonnet every night.

Now that my hair has a grown out a bit and  starting to curl I have had to replace to a few products and items. Instead of sleeping in a wave cap I now use a bonnet to try to preserve my curls.

I switched from using Murrays pomade to get my hair to lay down to Shea Moisture’s Curl Enhance Smoothie to help my curls pop after I shampoo or co-wash.

I use Oyin Handmade Hair dew daily to refresh and moisturized my hair.

I’m still using the Olive Oil spray oil to add shine. I’m also using the Shea Moisture growth shampoo and conditioner that I showed in the last post.

I’m very happy with my hair growth progress so far! I expect to Pixie to be back by August or September!!! Stay tuned!!!

Peace and love!

Feela 😘
